Celebrating the rich agricultural heritage of our county, the Itawamba Farmers Market is now open for the 2009 Season! This popular event, sponsored each year by the Itawamba County Development Council and the MSU-Itawamba Extension Service, offers the visitor a wide array of fresh Itawamba County homegrown produce and products. The market is open every Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. until and is located in the shade of the giant water oaks on the east side of the Itawamba County Courthouse on Fulton's historic town square.

Featuring all types of local fresh farm produce, space is free of charge for any Itawamba County farmer or gardener. All types of products are offered for sale including fresh garden vegetables, fruits, watermelons, cantaloupes, homemade jams, relishes and jellies, along with delectable homemade pies, cakes, and cookies. The market is certainly a special weekly summer treat. For further information, contact the MSU-Itawamba Extension Service at (662) 862-3201.
